He originally planned on taking me to a drive-in-movie since he know just how much of a movie person I am. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't in agreements with that plan. So, we went off in the opposite direction to check out Hot Springs since neither of us had really been in a while.
As we were heading back to the parking lot to head back home, I spotted a sign in front of this old house that read "Vintage Store. Est. Yesterday" and I just had to go in. I grabbed Jon's hand and I rushed inside to find the best Vintage store I have ever been in. This old man had collected all this stuff over his lifetime. There were old radios upon on radios that all worked, a tone of records, and lots of hats. This place was an organized time capsule that I wanted to escape in, and the old gentleman was unbelievably kind.
Being 20 has been such a blessing, and I am already dreaming of the day I go back to Hot Springs, get coffee, and go see that old gentleman again.
Truth be told, I am still not entirely sure what my word to pray over my year will be just yet. I am awaiting God's response on that. However, I figured I would just put together a bucket list of things that I want to do in this new year of 2017. Truth be told I have always wanted to live a life of adventure, but have always been the catious & safe 'mom' like person. So I am thinking this year I will let go of the idea that I can't do these things and just go for it. Anyone want to join in on a few?
I'll be sure to write about each adventure extensively and take as many photos as I can remember to take.
The only thing now is to decide which one to do first!
I am so glad you stopped by. I cannot wait to hear from you!
